First off, what is a ball joint? Well…it is the most one important parts of your cars suspension. This is one of the most important parts because the suspension is what helps with steering and controlling the car. If a ball joint fails the tire usually falls off sideways and leaves you stranded on the road. The noise a ball joint makes when it is badly worn is a clunking noise from the front of the car when hitting bumps. The average price for a mechanic to replace a Ball Joint is from $100-$500. Sometimes a car will require a wheel alignment after a Ball Joint Replacement, that normally cost a additional $60-$100, and at The Car Whisperers we do not yet have an alignment machine, but we hope to have one soon!
